1. Introduction

ThursdayKeegs, LLC (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of every Customer. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information through our mobile application, Field Notes, and our website, www.fieldnotesplanner.com.

2. The "Local-First" Principle

The core functionality of Field Notes is designed to store all Customer data—including contacts, notes, activity logs, and time tracking—locally on the Customer's own device.

  • No Cloud Storage: We do not host, see, or store your ministry data on our servers.

  • No Data Access: The Company has no technical means to access the information you enter into the app.

3. Information We Collect

  • Usage Data: To improve the app, we may collect anonymous technical data (e.g., device type, OS version). This does not include your personal notes, contact details, or ministry records.

  • App Store Payments: Payments for subscriptions or donations made within the app are handled via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive confirmation of payment but do not see or store your credit card details.

  • Direct Web Donations: If a Customer chooses to donate via our website, we collect the Customer's name and email address. This information is used strictly for issuing transaction receipts, managing recurring donations, and direct communication regarding the donation status. We will never sell, lease, or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.

  • Authentication Data: If you choose to use optional cloud integrations (Google Drive/iCloud), the app uses Secure Single Sign-On (SSO). We do not receive or store your login credentials.

4. Optional Third-Party Integrations

If a Customer voluntarily enables the following, data is shared between the device and the service provider:

  • Cloud Backup (Google Drive/iCloud): Your data is encrypted and sent to your personal storage. ThursdayKeegs, LLC remains unable to view this data.

  • Device Apps: The app interacts with your device's default Map, Phone, and Messaging apps to facilitate communication. Usage is governed by those apps' respective privacy policies.

5. Data Retention and Control

Since all ministry data is stored on your device, you have total control. You may view, edit, or delete your data at any time by using the app’s interface or by deleting the app entirely. For web donations, we retain name and email records only as long as necessary for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.

6. International Transfers

As of 2026, Field Notes is intended for use within the United States. If used internationally, please be aware that information related to donations and usage data may be processed in the United States.
